Located in the heartland of Mexico San Miguel de Allende is conveniently located 3 hours north from Mexico City and a 10 hour drive from Brownsville, TX.

The City of San Miguel is served by two airports:

Leon (BJX) Airport is about 1:20 hours away with daily non stop flights from US cities like Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Oakland and San Jose; Mexican cities like Monterrey, Mexico City, Tijuana, Morelia and Zacatecas and connecting flights from other cities in the US and Mexico. The airlines that serve Leon are: Continental, American Airlines, Delta, Aero California, Mexicana,
Aviacsa and Aeromexico.

Queretaro (QRO) Airport is about 50 minutes away with daily non stop flights from US cities like Houston and Los Angeles; Mexican cities like Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara . The airlines that serve Queretaro are: Continental Airlines, Aeromexico, Alma de Mexico and Aeromar.
Another option is to fly into Leon from Mexico City Airport in a 55 minute flight. The Mexico City airport is served by variety of international flights. By land one can take the bus service from the airport to Queretaro bus station which takes about 3 hours. Then take taxi to San Miguel that is just 40 minutes away.
